Draws a Large Crowd!
The Class of 1960 Clover Park Reunion Committee was very pleased to see the size of the crowd at the Tacoma Yacht Club for our 2023 Reunion Luncheon. The attendees numbered 50, and of that group, 35 were former classmates at Clover Park High School. Interesting was that this is the exact number of people we had last year. Our numbers we believed would shrink as the years go by. Health problems, ability to drive, and desire to come all the way from their home to Tacoma could stand in the way of making the trip. It appears that we have an audience that really enjoys coming year after year.

80TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION LUNCHEON

A great afternoon was enjoyed by all on a beautiful day by the shore of American Lake at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club. A group of 51 attendees came to celebrate their 80th birthdays with their Clover Park classmates. Classmates and their guests had a wonderful time chatting and greeting friends, eating a delicious lunch, hearing tales of past days at CPHS, writing a note to Lowell Halverson, our past ASB President at Clover Park, and looking over photos of past reunions displayed around the room. Many stopped to look at the new Clover Park Class of 1960 Directory designed and created by Trent Marvin, member of the Reunion Committee.
Each attending classmate got one. If you were not at this event, you may order a directory by sending $5.00 in cash or check to the Reunion Committee Treasurer, Janice Smith Stegeman at 912 S. Linden Lane, Tacoma, WA 98465-1105. Make the check out to Janice Stegeman, please. Include the address where you would like the directory sent.
