Last Reunion Event

It was such a pleasure to spend three hours with our Clover Park classmates.  All attendees were able to enjoy a view of American Lake from the main floor front room of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club while chatting and catching up on each others latest news.  At 1:00PM a delicious buffet lunch was served.  Later in the afternoon, the Co-chairs of the current Class of 1960 Reunion Committee recognized present and past committee members of the 14 reunions held over our 65 years since graduating from Clover Park High School.   You might be surprised to know that 43 class members have assisted with our reunion events.  Being the last of our more formal reunions, it was a wonderful day full of memories but also a bit sad.  Classmates from Washington D.C., Florida, California, and Oregon came to this event.  When will we see them again?  Hopefully during regular visits in the future.

NEW CLASS DIRECTORY IS STILL AVAILABLE

All attendees at the August 14th reunion received a new directory. If you would like a copy of this recent class directory, please send Janice Smith Stegeman $5.00 and your current address to which you would like the directory sent.   Janice's address is as follows:  Janice Stegeman, 912 S. The directory contains all our classmates' updated addresses.  A few sent a short paragraph about their current activities. In the back of the booklet are some interesting lists:  Classmates who have passed, lost members of the class, a list of Post-HS Careers and Accomplishments of Classmates, and a fun eighth grade test from 1895 (could you pass it?), plus a wonderful piece of writing from Rev. Judy Young Mackey, our classmate. Thank you Trent Marvin for putting this new directory together for us.  Now we can keep in touch in years to come!

First Class Luncheon Set for Friday, June 5, 2026  

Starting in June 2026, the Clover Park Class of 1960 will meet for lunch at the Beach Tavern in Tacoma, WA on June 5, 2026 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.  The address of the Beach Tavern is 8612 - 6th Ave., Tacoma, WA 98465 near Titlow Beach. This will be the first of two to three luncheons per year. You will order off the menu of the restaurant. The committee will be sending you the information about the event and how to accept or turn down the invitation to the lunch. As of today (5/25), these classmates have registered to come:  John Harrington, Leslie Baker, Karen Johnson, Harold Hasfjord, Dorothy Beerger, Joe Raudebaugh, Nancy Mayfield, Trent Marvin, Marty Meath, Judy and Rich Longstreth, Janice Stegeman, Mel and Edna Kelso, Roberta Brazier.  If an invite does not arrive to you by May 31st and you wish to attend, please let Leslie know.  We will need a count for the restaurant.  If you have other questions, contact
