Airport Operations Coordinator mitchellairport.com Married 2
My wife, Eileen and I, are planning to go to the reunion. I hope that everyone has on a name tag because this will be my first reunion since 1980!  I'm not going to upload the "then" from the yearbook picture because I've always HATED that pix. My "then" pix is from Liberia (where I spent a total of 6 years) in about 1964. I forgot to mention our 4 grandchildren. Addison and Elliot live in Hadley, MA and Lu and Leni live in Pasadena, CA Send Dennis a MessageSend Dennis a Message

January 03, 1942 Retired Married 1 Yes 2 Bryan & Katie Not since 1960
Joined the Air Force after high school and received a full medical retirement in 1977.  I was stationed in Texas, Kansas, Wichita Falls, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; Viet Nam; Nebraska, Crete, Greece; Misawa, Japan;  Florida, Oklahoma, Alaska, back to Oklahoma, and finally back to San Antonio,Texas while in the Air Force.

I went to college after I retired in San Antonio.  I received a bachelor degree in Psychology in 1980 and a masters degree in Clinical Counseling in 1982.

I married my wife, Mary Ann, in Kansas in May 1963.  We have a daughter, Darla, who is now married to an Air Force Lt Colonel and presently living in Georgia.  They have two children Bryan and Katie, so visit Geogia several times each year.

When I retired we stayed in San Antonio, Texas for the next 26 years.  We bought homes, fixed them up, and rented them.  Just before Mary Ann retired we started selling them off so we could travel with the responsibility of renter problems.

We started traveled most of the time after Mary Ann retired in 1998.  In April 2002 we sold our home in San Antonio and traveled full time in our motorhome until deciding to put down roots again in Brownsville, Texas in 2005.  We built a home in a gated over 55 retirement community.  It has three swimming pools, a spa, as well as meals and many activites at the club house.

We also enjoy cruising, we have cruised the eastern and western Caribbean, Alaska, Baha California, Panama Canal, Yangzee River, Amazon River, Mediteranean Sea, and 30 day cruise around Africa.

Retirement is wonderful.  Hope to see everyone in August.

Our sons and their families live in Arizona (Christmas trip), Alaska (every summer for 18 years) and Seattle. Between family visits, we have seen more of the world than we would have ever imagined in 1960.

Our home and roots remain in Lakewood. For those of you traveling to the reunion from distant places, welcome back.
